COMMITTED TO THE RESTORATION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST THROUGH THE PURSUIT OF HIS PRESENCE
Our vision is to see the body of Christ restored. This statement is a two edged sword. According to the dictionary, “to restore” means to “bring back to a former or original condition.” When something is restored in the Scriptures however, it is always increased, multiplied, or improved so that its finished state is significantly better than its original state.
On one side of this sword, there are individuals who have been discouraged because of spiritual abuse or a lack of a real understanding of how much they mean to Christ. They have walked away from God either emotionally or physically or both. God is seeking to restore them, not just to their former state, but to a place in Him as though they had never walked away.
On the other side of this sword God is not simply restoring the church to New Testament times. He is seeking to restore it to a state more powerful, majestic, and glorious than anything the world has ever seen. Restoration is a work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told His disciples in Acts 1:8 “do nothing until the Holy Spirit has come.” then He promises, they will be empowered to witness of Him and their witness will spread the Good News throughout the world. Our goal is to be an effective witness of God’s Love, Mercy and Grace.
