He finished his secondary education at Don Bosco College, an
exclusive high school located in Mandaluyong, Philippines.  He
graduated college at the San Sebastian College of Manila with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.  An avid sports fan,
Pastor Ernie was awarded numerous athletic scholarships
(soccer and basketball) in his elementary, high school, and
college years.  In addition, he garnered a Master of Divinity at
the Asian Theological Seminary.         

Before he was converted to Christ in 1977, he worked as a
salesman for an office equipment company in Manila.  He was
first introduced to Biblical Christianity at a Businessman’s
Breakfast Bible Study conducted by an American missionary.  

He is happily married to his wife, Sol for almost 30 years.  They
have one daughter, Jerushah, an Accounting major at San
Francisco State University.
ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Pastor Ernesto Gloria has worked as a
Presbyterian minister, church planter,
professor and a mentor to his fellow
pastors in his country, the Philippines
for many years.  Ernie, as his friends
call him, has served 16 years at the
Presbyterian Theological Seminary as a
Bible instructor. He also served as
Moderator and General-Secretary of his  
denomination, the Presbyterian Churchof the Philippines.  
Pastor Ernie moved to the United States in 2000 and he is
currently involved in a church planting ministry in the City of
Vallejo, under the wing of the Presbyterian Church in
America.
